This data set contains the number of Waste Complaints Lodged in Fingal County Council in 2022 up to end of 2025. This shows the number time that the complaints were investigated by our Waste Enforcement Officers till completed to the standards set down under the Waste Management Act 1996, as amended.They Investigate and report on reports of abandoned cars, photographing and updating the litter app and the D365 system. • They conduct walking patrols and engage with business owners regarding their responsibilities in keeping outside their premises clean and free of litter. • The Litter Management Section have commenced preparation for an ongoing Litter Awareness Campaign to continue over the 3-year period of the Litter Management Plan and will look at addressing ongoing issues such as illegal dumping/fly-tipping, dog fouling, unauthorised signage, cigarette butts/disposable vapes, muck on the road etc. The Campaign will focus on increasing litter awareness with the public through the various platforms to include the Councils Social Media Platforms, Bus Shelters, Libraries, Community Centres, schools and any other viable sources.
