FEATURED WiFi4EU Access Points DCC
The European Commission's WiFi4EU initiative promotes free Wi-Fi connectivity in public spaces across Europe, including parks, squares, public buildings, libraries, health centres, and museums. From 2018 to 2021, the EU allocated approximately €120 million to local governments to support this effort. Dublin City Council received the maximum grant of €60,000, which was matched by the Department of Rural and Community Development, doubling the investment in the city's public WiFi networks.
